Wayne Jones – Chief Executive Officer
Wayne Jones is the Chief Executive Officer of Indoor Skydive Australia Group Limited (ISA Group) and was appointed to the role on the foundation of the company in November 2011. He has been one of the key forces behind the successful establishment of ISA Group and establishing the Company the most successful performing IPO of 2013.
Wayne holds formal qualifications in Project Management, Business, Security and Risk Management and Management (Financial Management) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Corporate Directors. He has over 21 years’ experience in leading teams and delivering results. Wayne is an experienced skydiver and was also at the forefront of developing of military free fall training for over 10 years.
Prior to establishing ISA Group Wayne was a Commander with the SASR Operations and responsible for the development and performance of teams in changing environments. His goal focused approach and strategic vision resulted in Wayne being highly decorated throughout his military career and positions him well to lead ISA Group.
Daniel Hogan – Chief Operations Officer
Daniel Hogan is the Chief Operations Officer of ISA Group and a founder of the company. His primary responsibilities are the Company’s operations including the designing, development and construction of our indoor skydiving facilities. The completion of our first facility at Penrith was spearheaded by Daniel and resulted in a flagship, world class standard facility.
Daniel is a Member of the Australian Institute of Corporate Directors and is qualified in Military Freefall Parachuting Operations and was a highly qualified senior dive instructor within the Special Air Service Regiment. Prior to establishing ISA Group Danny was a highly decorated member of the SASR Operations and received the distinguished Medal of Gallantry. Danny’s ability to plan, manage and execute tasks in complex and fast moving environments with sound judgment have been proven during his 21 year military career and as ISA Group COO. His expertise in VWT and ability to lead teams and manage complex environments are invaluable to the Company. He is a forward thinker who is focused on delivery.
Brett Sheridan – Chief Marketing Officer
Brett Sheridan joined ISA Group in May 2013 in the role of Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to that time Brett, provided ISA Group with contracting services and has been involved with the Company since its inception. As Chief Marketing Officer, Brett is responsible for driving customer demand, increasing brand recognition and analysing market opportunities.
Brett is an experienced marketer with over 15 years association with the tourism and leisure industry and over 10 years of entrepreneurial experience. Brett’s key expertise is to deliver business growth which he has proven repeatedly in the past. He is also a two times Australian skydiving record holder, ski instructor/racer/guide and adventure racer.
Prior to joining ISA Group, Brett was co-owner of Adrenalin.com.au (Australia’s first online experiences company) and delivered business growth from $400kpa to $10m pa over 5 years. Brett’s ability to analyse key markets to deliver results, his extensive experience in building customer confidence and experience and his focus on delivering strategic outcomes are invaluable for ISA Group.
Fiona Yiend – General Counsel and Company Secretary
Fiona Yiend joined ISA Group in September 2013 as General Counsel and Company Secretary. Fiona is responsible for managing ISA Group’s legal matters, corporate governance and board administration. She performs a key role in our corporate transactions and managing our obligations to the ASX.
Fiona holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia (formerly Chartered Secretaries Australia), Graduate Diplomas in International Law and in Applied Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Laws (second class honours) and Bachelor of Arts. Fiona’s formal qualifications are complemented by over 5 years’ experience as General Counsel and Company Secretary of ASX listed entities.
Fiona has a strong background in corporate and commercial matters including capital raisings, alliances and partnering agreements and construction matters. Fiona’s ability to implement corporate processes, advise on significant corporate transactions and knack for delivering legal and practical outcomes, have made her a valuable addition to the ISA Group team.
Stephen Burns – Chief Financial Officer
Stephen Burns is a professional accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in developing and maintaining strong governance and cost control regimes within large organisations in challenging environments. Having worked across the public sector in the Department of Defence, both as a civilian and in uniform, as well as the private sector in small, medium and large multi-national organisations, Stephen is well placed to work with the Board and senior executive management team to drive the success of Indoor Skydive Australia Group as it continues along its growth path.
Most recently Stephen was the CFO of a Telecommunications and Manufacturing business based in Brisbane. Prior to that Stephen was the Director of Business Controlling within the local subsidiary of what is now Airbus Group (the second largest aircraft manufacturer worldwide) with the responsible for the financial oversight and governance of over $6Billion worth of contracts for the construction and ongoing maintenance of the Australian Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopters,MRH90 Multi Role Helicopters as well as various other aircraft maintenance contracts.
